Important: If you get a message that cookies are turned off, you need to turn them on to use your account.

In the Chrome app

You can allow or block third-party cookies for any site:

  1. On your Android device, open Chrome Turn cookies on or off - Android (1).
  2. At the top right, tap More Turn cookies on or off - Android (2) Turn cookies on or off - Android (3) Settings.
  3. Tap Site settings Turn cookies on or off - Android (4) Third-party cookies.
  4. Select an option:
    • Allow third-party cookies.
    • Block third-party cookies in Incognito.
    • Block third-party cookies.
      • If you block third-party cookies, all third-party cookies from other sites are blocked unless the site is allowed on your exceptions list.

Fix problems

If you can't sign in to a third-party website with your Google Account, and get a message that cookies are turned off:

  1. Follow the steps above to turn on cookies.
  2. Try signing in again.

If you still get the error message, here are some possible solutions. Try each one, then try signing in.
