You can ask us to 'Stop a cheque' in Online Banking before it is cashed. Log in and open 'Account services from the menu at the top of the page. Then look under 'Manage your account' and select 'Stop a cheque'.
You’ll need to tell us which account the cheque is made out from and the cheque number (you’ll find this on the stub in your chequebook). It would be helpful if you could also tell us the cheque amount, date and payee. There may be a charge for cancelling a cheque, depending on the circ*mstances.
If you’re not registered for Online Banking or can’t log in, contact any branch or use Telephone Banking (if you’re registered).
You should cancel your chequebook if it's been lost or stolen – call us using Telephone Banking, or visit a branch.
