How do I mine in abandoned ruins my time at Portia? ›

The player can mine by using any Pickaxe on the rocky ground or walls of the ruin. The higher quality the pickaxe, the more materials are excavated with each swing.

The Abandoned Ruins #2 are found up the road from Abandoned Ruins #1, located inside the large building behind the Civil Corps at the top of the hill. The ruins are in a dilapidated state, remaining closed off until after completing Bridge to Amber Island.

Basically, hit F when you enter the ruins and a target reticle should pop up. If you look around, you should see some glowing yellow dots. Look at one of them (keep it at the center of the reticle) for a few seconds and if should get targeted.

In the collapsed wasteland and on the amber island you'll find blue crystals, mine those. There are no other places besides the usual spawning points. Look again, sometimes crystals are hidden behind bushes in the collapsed wasteland that you might have missed.
