Should you size up in slippers? ›

The first step in choosing the right slipper size is to measure your foot. Use a ruler to measure the length of your foot from the heel to the tip of your longest toe. Make sure to measure both feet, as one foot may be slightly larger than the other. Use the larger foot measurement to choose your slipper size.

This gives our foot a little bit more 'wiggle room'. Without the reinforcement, slippers and slides generally feel slightly bigger than a boot of the same size. We typically advise customers to size down from their regular shoe size when purchasing our sheepskin slippers.

Another way to check this is to slip a finger between the heel of your foot and the heel of your shoe. There should be just enough space for your finger to fit nice and snugly. If your finger slides in easily with space to spare, you should probably go down a half size, while if it's a tight squeeze, go up half a size.

Sometimes, it's better to go one or half a size bigger than your regular shoe size, as during the day your feet may expand, especially during the warmer months or if you're standing for long periods of time. By sizing up, you're allowing your feet enough room to expand without your sandals becoming too tight.
