The Product Marketing Manager (PMM) will be responsible for supporting Product Marketing activities and commercial excellence of the Omnipod 5 Control platform (Omnipod 5 App on the Controller and compatible smartphones). This is a full-time exempt position reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Serve as product and market expert related to Omnipod 5 Control including product positioning, messaging, product acceptance, competitive landscape, etc.
• Lead commercial planning and execution of Omnipod 5 incremental software releases to introduce new features and enhance the Omnipod 5 user experience.
• Partner with Product Management to drive phone control compatibility roadmap and lead website messaging and updates.
• Support Senior Manager, Product Marketing in the development of the detailed launch planning for Omnipod 5 with iOS compatibility in the US.
• Understand target customer segmentation for strong positioning of Omnipod 5 to drive value and adoption.
• Support the development of creative strategies and marketing materials. Develop strong marketing claims and core message development.
• Create product briefs and work with Global Marketing Excellence to translate into agency creative briefs for marketing campaigns.
• Partner with Product Management on gathering customer insights through primary and secondary market research.
• Support Senior Manager, Product Marketing and Int’l PMMs in the development of go to market strategies for Omnipod 5 Control innovations globally.

• Decisions relating to asset creation (e.g., look and feel of content) made by Global Marketing Excellence and regional marketing.
• Commercial planning process and strategy of incremental software releases.

Required Skills And Competencies

• Experience launching new products and finding creative and innovative ways to accelerate awareness and adoption.
• Ability to succinctly develop product messaging to effectively convey the value proposition by target segment, globally.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presentations to executive audiences.
• Strong cross functional collaboration.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in Product Marketing in the medical device/MedTech industry or MBA with 3 years of related experience.
• Experience with software and mobile applications a plus.
• Diabetes experience or knowledge is a bonus.

Additional Information

• The position can be remote, hybrid or in-person at our Acton, MA headquarters.
• Travel is estimated at 20% but will flex depending on business needs.

Additional Information:The US base salary range for this full-time position is $120,900.00 - $181,650.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
