We’ve long known that prolonged loneliness can exacerbate or lead to a whole host of psychological, emotional, and physical issues.

Unfortunately, not everyone feels accepted in their lives. The many rejections we face in our lives can have a huge negative impact on how we view and feel about ourselves and our place in society. Many people struggle with feelings of rejection, isolation, and loneliness, which can have a significant negative impact on their mental and physical health over the long term. For these people, taking the step to seek out supportive relationships and communities can be an important step in promoting feelings of acceptance and belonging.

For those who may be more introverted, it is still worth it to put in the effort to develop communities of like-minded people to surround yourself with, It need not be many people, but being with people who accept us for who we are can positively benefit even those who are often more comfortable being alone.

Feeling accepted is a critical aspect of our emotional and physical well-being. It provides a sense of validation and support that can promote positive self-esteem, mental health, and physical health.
