IMO E. If you earn more than you can spend, you will save something. That is exactly what statement E says.

Hello rohit8865,
The argument is explaining a genius by saying that he manages to earn more than his family's spending. Here E is more appropriate than option C. The option C is concentrating only on his personal finances, whereas the option E is telling the broadened picture of his earnings and family's spending.
Hope it helps. Please argue if not satisfied.
