Forest Recreation Site, Oceanside Camping, Lakeside Camping and fishing, full hook ups with showers, laundry and firewood. Whatever your are looking for in your outdoor experience I am sure you

will find it in the Northern Vancouver Island Region.

Our area still has some Free Camping areas - believe it! Paid sites range from a low of $10 to a high of $26 Canadian Dollars for full hook-up. Prices may vary.

NORTH ISLAND CAMP SPOTS – PAID SITES

Site services include: Non-serviced, 15 amp & Water, 15 amp full service, 30 amp full hook up (water, sewer, power); Moorage, 2-lane boat launch, showers and kayak launch, parking

Proceeds go to Salmon enhancement, hatchery on site.

ATLUCK LAKE 50 km/31 mi S of Port McNeill off Zeballos rd on Atluck mainline
A campsite with no facilities and a boat launch are provided
Best fishing May-June and Sept-Oct for cutthroat and rainbow trout and dolly varden

BENSON LAKE 35 km SW of Port McNeill (via Keogh Main & Wady Main)
Private boat launch; Best April-May, Sep-Oct, Rainbow and cutthroat trout, dolly varden char

GEORGIE LAKE 10 km/6 mi NW of Port Hardy of the Holberg Road
A campsite with facilities and a boat launch are provided; Cutthroat (some rainbow) trout

KATHLEEN LAKE 19 km E of Port Alice and 36 km SW of Port McNeill
4 campsites, boat launch, picnic site Port McNeill Keogh Main and Wady Main

KOEGH LAKE 11 km/7 mi SW of Port McNeill

LITTLE HUSON CAVE PARK 20 minute drive on gravel road from Hwy 19, on Zeballos Road.
This is not a camp site but a great sightseeing/hike opportunity.
Self Guided Cave; Limestone and Rock Arch formations; Short trail.

MARBLE RIVER RECREATION AREA 25 min from Port McNeill, on Port Alice Road

Day us only, boat launch, picnic area
Spring and Fall try for rainbow and cutthroat tourt, dolly varden and springs.

TEX LYON TRAIL Hiking Trail starts at Stories Beach, near Port Hardy

THREE ISLE LAKE 18 km/11mi SW of Port McNeill

VICTORIA LAKE 60 km/40 SW of Port Hardy, off Port Alice Road
A campsite with no facilities and a boat launch are provided rainbow & cutthroat trout

Traveling to NANAIMO. I recommend Living Forest Oceanside RV & Campground
